About Ana Rodz

Born in New York and raised in beautiful Puerto Rico,  I am a combination of things, among these, an archivist, librarian, art historian, and a tropical beast.  I am currently back again since 2017 in Miami, Florida, after a short stint in Gainesville and Orlando (in that exact order).  In Miami, I held a variety of jobs related to librarianship and communication in places such as the University of Miami, the Jewish Museum of Florida and The Miami Herald. Presently, I work as the South Florida Librarian at the Florida International University (FIU).

One of the many goals of this blog is to present my photographic work, one that I keep developing as a documentary exercise. Architecture, places, and portraits are among the subjects I’m looking to expand and improve in my work. Another objective of mine is to practice writing about art and librarianship, by way of interviews, profiles, and projects.

  1. Hi Ana!

I was wondering if I could use one of your pictures / what your pricing would be to use the one of the Church of the Little Flower? Our company roofed it years back, and I love the closeup of the clay tiles!
